MyAR Julle is a part of the MOI development programme.
The Monilukutaitoa Opitaan Ilolla (MOI, Joy of Learning Multiliteracies) development programme produces pedagogical solutions and materials for the promotion of multiliteracy skills for small children (ages 0 to 8). The development programme is executed by the Playful Learning Center at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Helsinki.

This digital application has been developed to support children's engagement with and learning about multiliteracies. Multiliteracy refers to meaning making and production of various texts. The central aspect of multiliteracy is the ability to acquire, use, edit, produce, present, and evaluate texts and their contents in different situations and environments with different tools.
This app can be used across the curriculum. It enhances children's creativity and storying on matters that they find interesting. The app is also a very good tool for outdoor education. Children can use the app to document and share their experiences over the natural world.
Saving and sharing on your device: You can share the pictures saved on your device via e-mail or SMS, for example with parents.
Note! Taking pictures of underage children and sharing them requires permission from the children’s legal guardians.
If you wish to share on Instagram: Save your Julle picture on Instagram with the hashtag #MyARJulle, so that others can find your Julle as well. Please remember that the minimum age for using Instagram is 13, so the sharing has to happen with the approval of and under the supervision of an adult.
Your privacy is our highest priority, and we will protect it by all means possible. We abide by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) set by the EU to protect your privacy. We will only process data that is necessary for using the MyAR Julle application. Pursuant to GDPR, we have carried out impact assessments for privacy in order to limit risks. These impact assessments analyse all possible risks concerning your data and all actions that are necessary to avoid or minimise said risks.
When using the application, MyAR Julle will ask for your permission to use the camera and storage on your device. You must give these permissions for the MyAR Julle app to function on your device.
The MyAR Julle application will not store or publish your pictures anywhere outside of your device without your permission. With your consent, we may publish your Julle pictures on our website for marketing purposes. You may request the deletion of pictures that we have saved with your consent at any time.
